Ply is early stage, built by a small team that believes the fiber craft economy is broken and fixable. We're hiring people who care about craft and creators — people who want to build a platform that pays designers like the creators they are. No corporate posturing. Just good work, clear ownership, and a product that matters to the people who use it.
All roles are remote within EU timezones unless otherwise noted. We work asynchronously, write things down, and ship fast.
You'll be the first point of contact for every designer on Ply. Onboard founding creators, build trust with the fiber community, run feedback loops that shape the product. Previous experience in creator platforms, marketplaces, or the craft industry preferred. You should be someone knitters actually want to talk to.
Build the platform end-to-end: creator dashboards, pattern-to-yarn attribution, Shopify integrations, payment flows. We value clarity over cleverness and shipping over architecting. TypeScript, React, Node. Experience with Shopify APIs or Stripe Connect is a plus, not a requirement.
Own our voice across channels: newsletter, social, community groups, creator spotlights. You write well, think editorially, and understand the knitting/crochet world — or are ready to learn it deeply. This isn't a social media scheduling role; it's a storytelling one.
Make the machine run: 3PL coordination, yarn supply chain, creator payouts, inventory planning. You'll work closely with our manufacturing partners and ensure every skein gets where it needs to go. Experience in e-commerce operations, logistics, or supply chain management is essential.
Send a short note about yourself and why this work interests you to jobs@plycraft.co. Include a link to anything that shows how you think — a portfolio, a side project, a Ravelry profile, a well-written email. No cover letter template. No CV format requirements. We read everything.
