This Cookie Policy explains how Ply Craft Ltd. ("Ply," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on the Ply platform. We believe in transparency and simplicity: we use as few cookies as possible, we do not use third-party advertising cookies, and we rely on privacy-respecting analytics. This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to make them work more efficiently, and to provide reporting information. Cookies set by the website operator are called "first-party cookies." Cookies set by parties other than the website operator are called "third-party cookies."
We currently use only essential first-party cookies and a single privacy-respecting analytics tool. We do not use any third-party advertising, remarketing, or tracking cookies.
| Cookie name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| ply_session | Essential | Maintains your session while you browse the Platform. Required for the site to function. | Session (expires when browser closes) |
| ply_auth | Essential | Keeps you signed in to your account so you do not need to log in on every page. | 30 days |
| ply_csrf | Essential | Protects against cross-site request forgery attacks. A security measure. | Session |
| ply_cookie_consent | Essential | Remembers your cookie preferences so we do not ask you again on every visit. | 365 days |
| ply_analytics | Analytics | Privacy-respecting analytics identifier. No personal data is collected. Used to understand aggregate usage patterns only. | 24 hours |
We use a privacy-respecting analytics tool that does not use persistent identifiers, does not track users across sites, and does not share data with third parties. Analytics data is aggregated and anonymised. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party tracking service. Our analytics are designed to comply with GDPR without requiring cookie consent for the analytics cookie itself, though we include it in this policy for full transparency.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies. We do not participate in ad networks or remarketing programs. When you make a purchase or receive a payout, Stripe (our payment processor) may set its own cookies for fraud prevention and security purposes. These are governed by Stripe's privacy policy.
You can control and manage cookies in several ways:
Please note that disabling essential cookies will prevent the Platform from functioning correctly. You may not be able to sign in, maintain a session, or complete purchases if essential cookies are blocked.
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will notify you through a notice on the Platform.
